"Help me out here with "Reilly's Lu"

I've been trying to cast the character Will Reilly but I can't get it right. The character would have to be very personable, and of course at the same time very tough. The closest I've come is James Garner, but he's gone. I'm thinking someone alive and active today.
So everyone give it a shot if you would.
P.S. Wasn't that a great story!

Need to think younger than Garner, (Will was probably in his mid to late 30's at the start of the story. (Even Selleck is probably too old)
How about Bailey Chase who played Branch in the Longmire series?

Isn't making a smoking section in a restaurant like making a peeing section in a swimming pool?

The English Language is weird. It can be understood through tough thorough thought though.
